Do not invest your hard-earned dollars in this odious industry. Do not become one of those people demanding a return on their investment, profiting off the backs of families and individuals that may be at the lowest points in their lives.
I agree, Trudy, but a lot of people (me included) probably end up investing without knowing it. The mutual funds people own in their IRAs and 401(k)s more than likely hold healthcare stocks as part of their portfolio.

Nevertheless it is not against the rules to let whatever money managers or financial advisors you have that you adamantly do not want to be involved in this parasitic industry. For what it is worth I have a restriction on my investment accounts and have had one for years. My family has suffered deeply at the hands of health insurance companies.

Suffice to say that medical care in the USA is designed to deny as much coverage as possible. The latest trick (quickly rescinded) was the amount of anesthesia a patient would be entiltled to during an operation. I kid you not. ARGH !!!
Yes, I read and heard a little bit about that. Unbelievable. But that was just their first salvo, they'll eventually figure out how to convince the masses that anesthesia isn't critical for surgery.
